Knees by Vanita Oelschlager

Knees shows the ups and downs of life with dyslexia. We have done this book in the style and size of a chapter book so that younger children and older children at low reading levels can read what seems to be an older child's book.
We cover dyslexia's symptoms and the reasons school can be hard for dyslexics. We talk about some famous people who had or have dyslexia.
The book is endorsed by the head master of a school where many of the children have dyslexia. He has dyslexia himself.

Vanita Oelschlager is a poet, author, and grandmother. She is also a wife, mother, grandmother, philanthropist, former teacher, and present caretaker. She is a Mt. Hood High School graduate. She now serves as a Trustee at Union College in Alliance, Ohio. Vanita is also a Writer in Residence with the University of Akron's Literacy Program. Her first book, My Grampy Can't Walk, received a lot of positive feedback.

It's a heartwarming narrative of her and her multiple sclerosis-affected husband Jim, as well as their grandchildren. Vanita has also aided Jim in the development of Oak Associates, ltd. becoming a well-known investment management firm
