Joanne Seiff is a knitwear designer, author, and freelance writer. Her work has featured in CBC online, The New York Jewish Week, The Forward, Salon.com, Vogue Knitting, and Interweave Knits, among other publications. Joanne has a master's degree in Religious Studies from UNC, a master's degree in Education from GWU, and a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from UNC. Joanne is a fiber artist who appreciates crafting things from the ground up, from sheep to finished garments. She has a bachelor's degree in Near Eastern Studies and Comparative Literature from Cornell University. Her knitted fiber art has been shown and sold in various North American galleries, and her handspun yarn and handknits have earned prizes.
