Kristin worked as the creative director of Classic Elite Yarns for sixteen years, honing her abilities in product development, graphic design, and sales and marketing. She was named a Master Knitter of the 1990s by Vogue Knitting. She has worked as an author, book illustrator, and product designer since 2001.
Kristin has also contributed designs to a number of other knitting publications. Kristin, her husband, and their daughter reside on Leyden Glen Farm, a working sheep farm in western Massachusetts.
