Yeomans, Helen: - Helen Yeomans worked in the publishing industry in Toronto and London before founding her own company in Vancouver, providing writing, editing and publishing expertise to business clients worldwide. Her first published work was a Canadian best-seller, The Christmas Carol Handbook, which sold 10,000 copies in North America. Helen discovered fiction-writing while looking for new markets for her editing services. She wrote screenplays, scripts, short stories and a novel, Owen's Day, and discovered she liked the novel form best. Her fifth novel, Cruising to Danger, was published in September 2020. Her children's book, A Knock at the Door, was a silver-medal winner in the 2015 Wishing Shelf Awards. Born in England, Helen Yeomans is an avid golfer and loves movies, music and reading.
