Hermann Weyl (1885-1955), in addition to making essential contributions to most disciplines of mathematics, was also interested in theoretical physics. Weyl worked with Einstein on relativity theory at the Institute for Advanced Studies, in addition to teaching in Zürich, Göttingen, and Princeton.
