"These are great books if you are starting either Kung Fu classes, or enrolling in a Jeet Kune Do academyBoth provide the basic information about the art. I would easily recommend these to anyone that was starting up their new martial path, and wanted to know what to expect from the Kung Fu that they signed up for, or even how Jeet Kune Do differs from other martial arts." -- Jaredd Wilson, Martial Thoughts
Paul Eng was born in Hong Kong, began studying kungfu at the age of 6, and has been teaching since 1960. He studied a range of Kung Fu systems, specializing Seven Star Praying Mantis. He has taught in New York and in Vietnam while serving in the US Army, and in California where he has his own Kung Fu school.
