La Guerre, Yes Sir! by Roch Carrier
La Guess, Yes Sir! is a wedding, a funeral, and best of all, a full company of Carrier's joyful, blaspheming, vigorous characters.
He has written over fifteen novels, as well as a number of children's books, short story collections, poetry collections, and plays. From 1994 to 1997, he was the director of the Canada Council for the Arts, and from 1999 to 2004, he was the National Librarian of Canada. Carrier is an Officer of the Order of Canada and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. He currently resides in Montreal.
