Heather Toomer is a well-known authority in antique lace. For over 25 years, she has studied and collected antique lace, spoken on the subject, arranged a lace travelling exhibit, and advised museums on how to display their lace collections. She resides in the Bath area of England. The majority of the images in this book were taken by Cynthia Voysey. She is an expert on Honiton lace, having lectured extensively in England and co-authored or co-authored several lace books.
