His books have been translated into over thirty languages, and he has received worldwide praise for his work. Pavic was well-known not only in his own Serbia, but also in South America and Europe, where he was regarded as one of the best writers of his day. Pavic is the author of a number of books, including Dictionary of the Khazars, Landscape Painted with Tea, Second Body, and a number of others.
