Landscapes of Light by David Adam

A volume of the prayers of David Adam, illustrated in full colour with photographs of Holy Island, from wide-sweep landscapes to more intricate images revealing beauty in unexpected places. The photographs relate closely to the meaning and mood of each prayer, helping us perceive the glory of God that is always around us - both in times of struggle and times of joy.
David Adam is one of the best-loved figures in Celtic spirituality, and author of many successful books including most recently A Desert in the Ocean (Triangle, 2000) and Glimpses of Glory (SPCK, 2000). He is the Vicar of Lindisfarne, which receives thousands of pilgrims each year. Robert Cooper, Priest-in-charge of Sadberge in County Durham, works for the Chaplaincy to the Arts and Recreation, building bridges between the Church and the arts community.
