Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack is a recipe developer, food blogger, and author who draws culinary inspiration from her Mexican heritage. She is co-author of Muy Bueno: Three Generations of Authentic Mexican Flavor (Hippocrene Books, 2012) with her mother and sister. She is also co-author of Latin Twist: Traditional & Modern Cocktails with Vianney Rodriguez, also by Hippocrene Books. Yvette has been featured in Latina, People en Español, and Cosmopolitan for Latinas magazines, and the Muy Bueno blog has earned a number of accolades, including finalist in the 2012 and 2014 SAVEUR Best Food Blog Awards. She lives in Colorado with her husband and two children. Vianney Rodriguez is a food blogger and recipe developer who enjoys sharing recipes that are inspired by her childhood memories and her Tejana/Mexican heritage. Her blog, Sweet Life, reflects this identity, and has been featured as one of NBC Latino’s “Food Blogs We Love,” Latina’s Best Food Blogs, and Babble.com’s Top 100 Mom Food Blogs, among others. Vianney was recognized as the LATISM 2012 Best Latina Food Blogger. She resides with her family in South Texas.
