Laura Lea Goldberg is the founder/writer/photographer of the popular food website LLBalanced. She is a certified Holistic Chef, consultant, and the founder/writer/photographer of the popular food website LLBalanced. She developed her interest for healthy food and nutrition while working in a fast-paced corporate environment in New York after graduating from the University of Virginia. She gave it all up to attend the Natural Gourmet Institute and then returned to her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, to establish LLBalanced, a website that offers readers economical, cozy, and make-ahead family-friendly meals that are full of nutrients and taste. Her meals are frequently remakes of Southern-style comfort cuisine, with the goal of giving us the best of both worlds. She now consults with individuals, businesses, and restaurants on all areas of healthy eating and nutrition, as well as writing articles and recipes for publications such as Nashville Lifestyles, Southern Living, Shape, and Greatist.com.
