Jennie Walters was a children's book editor for over fifteen years, creating many new story and activity books for characters as diverse as Noddy, Spot, Peter Rabbit and the PG Tips family. A couple of years ago, she started to write full-length children's fiction, and since then has completed eight books: four for the Animal Ark series, the Perfect Ponies trilogy (both for Working Partners Ltd) and a title in the Tesco Terror collection. Despite having two sons, she has been conducting extensive Party Girl research with her friends' daughters. She is currently the oldest person on record to have bought coloured clip-on hair extensions from Claire's Accessories.
