Goldreich, Gloria: - Gloria Goldreich is the author of Leah's Journey, which won the National Jewish book Award for fiction, and of its sequel Leah's Children. Her novel Four Days received the Jewish Federation Arts and Letters Award and West to Eden was the featured selection of the Troll Book Club. Her subsequent novels for adults as well as for younger readers have received critical acclaim. Her essays and short fiction have appeared in Commentary, Moment, McCall's, Redbook, Ms, Ladies Home Journal and Chatelaine and other publications. The mother of three adult children and the grandmother of eight widely scattered grandchildren, she and her attorney husband reside in Westchester County, New York.
