Charner spent 25 years at Gryphon House, where she founded the publishing program and collaborated with authors to generate works that impacted the field of early childhood education. Kathy Charner graduated from Binghamton University with a bachelor's degree in humanities. She and her spouse reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
