ROLAND & HEIDI BAKER are the founders and directors of IRIS Ministries and have been missionaries for 30 years. They have taken deliberate steps to associate themselves with the world's poorest people and have become known for stopping for the one. After spending many years ministering exclusively in Mozambique, Rolland and Heidi now travel internationally, teaching others about the simplicity of passion and compassion in the ministry of the Gospel.

Iris Global was formed by Heidi Baker and her husband, Rolland. Before following God's call to Mozambique in 1995, they served as missionaries in Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the streets of London. The Bakers have seen God miraculously provide for more than 20,000 children after facing severe need. Heidi is the author of Compelled by Love, as well as Always Enough and Expecting Miracles, which she coauthored with her husband.
