Lenten Adventure by David Rhodes
This is a collection of daily meditations for Lent, Holy Week and Easter. The author draws on the social justice aspect of Christ's teaching, relating the gospel to everyday life. Each Sunday's meditation is based on a phrase from the Lord's Prayer; this phrase is echoed in the following week's meditations. It should be useful to anyone seeking to live out the love of God in the world.
For many years an Anglican priest based in inner-city Leeds, David Rhodes was recently appointed national Chaplain Missioner with The Children's Society. He is the author of two Triangle titles, Faith in Dark Places (1966) and The Advent Adventure (1998). David continues to live in Leeds.
