Eric Anderson is Professor of Sport, Masculinities and Sexualities at the University of Winchester, UK.  He was America’s first openly gay high school coach in 1993 and is considered an expert on the experiences of gay men in sport, and has published several books including 21^st Century Jocks, Discovering Sociology, and The Palgrave Handbook on Sport and Masculinity.
