The theme Following God is one that emphasizes the importance of building a relationship with God, living a life totally surrendered to His leading. Examples are giving of those who receive blessing from a surrendered walk with God as well those who did not follow His direction. This Bible study is designed in an interactive format, incorporating important scriptural points of interest. Other features include a look at the characters mentioned from a historical perspective, as well as interesting facts, about the time these characters lived.

Eddie Rasnake graduated with honors from East Tennessee State University. He and his wife, Michele, served 7 years with Cru at UVa, James Madison, and as campus director at the University of Tennessee. Eddie left Cru to join Wayne Barber at Woodland Park Baptist Church where he still serves as Senior Associate Pastor. He has authored dozens of books and Bible studies and has published materials in Afrikaans, Albanian, German, Greek, Italian, Romanian, Russian and Telugu. Eddie and his wife Michele live in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
