Links of Heaven by Richard Phinney
Part a practical guide to Ireland's finest courses and a part travel book, it offers a portrait of the country's golfing community and its history. It includes chapters on individual courses, their histories and characteristics, that are interspersed with anecdotes and reminiscences that shed light on Ireland and its golfers.
'Entertaining, informative and a joy to read... It has a lovely flowing anecdotal style and includes many human stories behind the building of some of the finest courses.' Irish Independent
