The Lion Book of Christian Poetry brings a selection of poems from this collection into a smaller-format paperback edition. This new anthology contains 500 poems by more than 200 poets spanning over 1000 years, including contemporary works from around the world. Authors range from Peter Abelard to Seamus Heaney and from Mary Herbert to Veronica Zundel; the dates of each author, along with brief biographical details, are included at the back of the book.
