
Linda Wolfe is the author of five true-crime novels: The Professor and the Prostitute and Other Real Stories of Murder and Madness, Love Me to Death, Double Life, The Murder of Dr Chapman, and Wasted: Inside the Robert Chambers-Jennifer Levin Murder, which was a New York Times Notable Book and was nominated for an Edgar Award. She is also the author of the memoir My Daughter, Myself, the classic cookbook The Literary Gourmet, and the novel Private Practices. Wolfe's essays and articles have appeared in a number of publications, including Vanity Fair, the New York Times Magazine, and New York magazine, where she served as a contributing editor. She currently contributes a book review to the website www.FabOverFifty.com.
