It is Christmas Eve and the Little Angel has a feeling that she is needed on Earth tonight. The bigger angels tell her she is too small to make such a long and important journey, but when a star alights above her head she decides that she was meant to go. Earth is beautiful; the ground is covered in snow, the windows of the houses are full of Christmas trees, and the streets are strung with coloured fairy lights. But when the Little Angel comes across an old man playing the fiddle for his supper, she realises that not everyone is happy and prosperous.
