Miles Gibson was born in a seaside town on the edge of the New Forest, and now lives in Dorset. An author of adult fiction and poetry, he is also a screenwriter and artist. Neal Layton was born and raised in Chichester, but he now lives in Portsmouth. He studied illustration at Saint Martins School of Art. To date Neal has won and been shortlisted for the prestigious Nestle Prize several times and his distinctive artwork features in many award-winning children’s fiction and picture books, both in the UK and abroad.
