Little Ghost Wicky by Yokococo

A warm, engaging story celebrating individuality and the determination to make one’s dreams come true Little ghost, Wicky, lives in a big, dark and dusty house. His grandad lives inside the grandfather clock. Wicky is only allowed out to play at midnight. ‘Ghosts like the dark!’ says his grandad. But Wicky doesn’t. He loves the sunshine. One morning, Wicky peeks out of the attic window and, hearing a voice, becomes more eager than ever to go outside before dark. Will Wicky find a way to leave the house without Grandad finding out?

Yoko was born in Osaka, Japan. She studied English Literature at Doshisha women's college in Kyoto and then worked as a planner at a stationery company and as an illustrator in Japan before coming to England to study Illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
