Barbara Ann Mojica is a retired educator and historian from New York State. She has a history bachelor's and master's degree. Barbara has more than 40 years of experience teaching in New York City and holds certificates in Elementary, Special Education, and Administration from the state of New York. She also worked as a Special Education Administrator and the administrator of a developmentally delayed preschool for numerous years. Barbara, despite her retirement from teaching, keeps active by writing historical pieces for The Columbia Insider, Pat Fisher, and Ed Pollack Editors, under the label Passages, in addition to her upcoming series of Little Miss History trip books. Barbara hopes that her Little Miss History character will motivate children to study about historical figures with visit landmarks like the one featured in this book by combining her passion of history and education.
