A Little Princess (Royal Collector's Edition) (Case Laminate Hardcover with Jacket) by Frances Hodgson Burnett

A Little Princess tells the story of Sara Crewe, a kind and imaginative girl raised in India by her doting father. Enrolled in a London boarding school, she is thrust from luxury to poverty when her father dies penniless. Despite her hardships, Sara's grace and generosity endure, earning her the title of a 'princess' among her peers. Her fortunes take a mysterious turn when a neighbor, Mr. Carrisford, who was her father's business partner, seeks to rectify past wrongs.

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett, expands upon her serialized story Sara Crewe. It became a children's classic for its fairy tale qualities, vivid characters, and dramatic plot.
