Lucy Su is an author/illustrator of growing reputation and has written many children's books for leading UK publishers. She was born and grew up in Pinner. Her parents came to Britain so that her father could study at London University, and he later worked for the BBC World Service. She always wanted to be an artist and went to Brighton art school. She worked as an illustrator for magazines and advertising. When she had her own children she became interested in doing children's books herself.
