Steve Perry is a science fiction and television writer from the United States. He's written Star Wars, Alien, and Conan books, as well as Tom Clancy's Net Force trilogy. He is a pencak silat practitioner from Indonesia, which prompted him to invent the fictional martial arts sumito and teras kasi featured in the Matador series, for which he is most known. He is a resident of the Pacific Northwest.
