T Kira Madden is a writer, photographer, and amateur magician who identifies as APIA. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of No Tokens, as well as a facilitator of writing workshops for the homeless and formerly jailed. She has received fellowships at The MacDowell Colony, Hedgebrook, Tin House, DISQUIET, Summer Literary Seminars, and Yaddo, where she was selected for the 2017 Linda Collins Endowment Residence Prize. She is a 2017 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in nonfiction literature. She is a professor at Sarah Lawrence College in New York City.
