Basco, Rachel: - Rachel Basco earned her B.S. in cardiopulmonary science and M.S. in health sciences from Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Science Center, School of Allied Health Professions. She currently is completing her dissertation for her Ed.P. at Louisiana Tech University. She worked as a registered respiratory therapist for 10 years and then began her career in college instruction in respiratory therapy at the LSU School of Allied Professions in Shreveport, Louisiana. Professor Basco then found her interest to be in nonclinical education and began instructing biology courses at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. She completed a graduate certificate in instructional design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout to improve her expertise in online learning. She is employed as a project director and adjunct instructor in medical terminology at Bossier City Community College.
