Lost: A Wild Tale of Survival by Thomas Kingsley Troupe
Kelly roams the outskirts of forest with her friends while they attempt to collect various bugs for a science assignment. Soon, a particularly rare butterfly catches her eye and she wanders into the woods in hot pursuit until it suddenly disappears. When Kelly turns back, she realizes she is completely turned around with no idea how to get back to her friends. Armed with only a mason jar, a butterfly net, and a small lunch, Kelly is forced to contend with the wilderness and many of the dangers therein.
Thomas Kingsley Troupe is the author of a big ol’ pile of books for kids. He’s written about everything from ghosts to Bigfoot to 3rd grade werewolves. He even wrote a book about dirt. When he’s not writing or reading, he investigates the strange and spooky as part of the Twin Cities Paranormal Society. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his two sons.
