The Lost Child by Anne Atkins
A story told from a child's perspective. It tells about one particular summer and a special relationship with Poppy, which has never been talked about since.
Anne Atkins is an actress as well as a writer. She is married to a vicar and they live in Fulham with their four children and various chickens, bees, cats and doves. A practising Christian, she recently created an outcry in her Radio 4 Thought for the Day and as a result has become a media pundit on morals and family life, as well as Agony Aunt for the Daily Telegraph.
