The Lost Girl by Caroline Roberts

Caroline Roberts is a survivor. Just 16 years old when she was hitchhiking home from a weekend with her boyfriend, she was picked up by two of the most twisted and dangerous people in the country, names that would, years later, become synonymous with pure evil: Fred and Rose West. Unsuspecting, she took a job as a nanny to the Wests. The events that followed were to scar her for the rest of her life. Remarkably, Caroline has now rebuilt her shattered life - one of the few who came in contact with the couple to live to tell the tale. "The Lost Girl" is an inspirational true story of one woman's suffering and her eventual triumph against the odds.
Caroline Roberts was born in Gloucester in 1955, and raised in the Forest of Dean where she still lives with her husband and four children. She is a Reiki healer and works as a Project Worker for a for Substance Misuse Service. She started writing as therapy... it worked for her.
