Lost Tramways of England: Nottingham by Peter Waller
The city of Nottingham now possesses one of the country's second-generation tramways. It used to have two traditional electric tramway operations. Dominant for the first 25 years of the 20th century, by the mid-1920s the new trolley bus transport system came to epitomise the future, and all the city's original trams were withdrawn. Little remains of the old system. -- Cyngor Llyfrau Cymru
