Louie and Snippy: Save Our Seas is a story of a little boy whose love of the ocean takes him, and the reader, on an incredible underwater journey. Louie and his trusty companion, Snippy the dog, dive into the ocean and are surrounded by brilliant coral reefs. But they soon discover that human rubbish – bottles, plastic straws and plastic bags – have trapped fish and other creatures. What will Louie be inspired to do?

Collette Dinnigan is one of Australia’s most well known and loved fashion designers. Her previous books include her illustrated memoir Obsessive Creative and her children’s book Louie and Snippy Save the Sea (illustrated by Grant Cowan), which was a shortlisted picture book in the Children’s Book of the Year Awards in 2019.   Grant Cowan holds a degree in fine arts, majoring in painting, from the National Art School in Sydney and has taught at various institutions. His work has featured in many exhibitions and he is renowned for his unique hand-painted fashion illustrations. He has worked as illustrator on Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour and Red magazines.
