Ava Dellaira is a Truman Capote Fellow and a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree. Her debut novel is Love Letters to the Dead. She now resides in Santa Monica.
