Pamela was born in Chester. Following the death of her mother when she was twelve, she moved with her father to the Wirral. She trained as a primary school teacher, travelled, married in 1966 and had two children. Her hobbies include spinning and walking. She now lives in South Cheshire with her Cairn terrier.
