Norman Schwenk was born in 1935 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was educated in the USA and taught literature and writing at Cardiff University, Uppsala University in Sweden and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He has been writing and publishing for over sixty years. His most recent collections of verse are: The More Deceived: poems about love and lovers, Cadillac Temple: haiku sequences and Book of Songs.
