Macmillan Directory of EC Industry Information Sources by James Hogan

With the completion of the single market, an increasing number of unstructured information sources are available. This Directory is therefore aimed at providing practical and comprehensive guidance on EC business information sources in an accessible format. It provides information on legislative and consultative procedures and relevant published and organisational sources. Entries are arranged under NACE classification, the system which superseded the current UK SIC system during 1991. The Directory is an invaluable EC business reference source and complements its UK equivalent, The Macmillan Directory of Business Information Sources (UK), EC Industry.
James Hogan had an outstanding career in broadcast TV producing some of Britain's best loved shows. He was editor of BBC TV's Question Time, producer for BBC Panorama and worked for Zenith Productions which made Inspector Morse, Spitting Image, and for SelecTV which made Birds of a Feather and Lovejoy. He moved on to become one of the most important City P.R. consultant in London. James Hogan is also a painter. He painted most days from a very early age but stopped abruptly when he became traumatized by the death of his father, then his mother. In 2007 he returned to oil painting with an energy he has likened to the sexual drive of youth. He was educated at Oxford University, England where he wrote a thesis on counter-culture in society and art. His work as a painter has received tremendous critical acclaim and a public exhibition opened in Cork Street, Mayfair in 2010 attracted hundreds of people at the opening. He is the author of various books including the Art Upstart, an autobiographical journey illustrated by over forty paintings.
