MadC: Color Rhythms by Claudia Walde
Launched at the start of 2022, MadC’s 'Color Rhythms' is a collection of 1,000 unique NFTs innovatively produced by a generative algorithm, machine learning and hand curation that allowed the hand of the artist to be captured and replicated digitally, from the instinctual choice of color and chance splashes of paint to the sharp pull of a paintbrush on canvas.
The variations between each artwork image have been quantified and labelled by a number of rarities such as form, density, color, number of colors and monochrome. Each of these categories is then assigned different parameters for each work to make up the expressive forms and evocative color palettes that characterize this collection.
The complete collection of 1,000 works will be published by HENI in a substantial, compact, small-format hardback book. Complete with a visual index, the book is designed in close collaboration and with an introduction by the artist herself and printed in a limited run of 1,000 copies, each numbered and signed.
