As I walked around on this gorgeous day,
I reflected on my life and then prayed,
Father God, thank you for being You.
Thank you too for the many blessings .
I would try to count them,
But they are countless.
Thank you for being holy .
All good things in life reflect You .
At that moment I realized .
You and I, we were made
To praise His name.
You and I, we were made
To love and be loved.
You and I, we were made
To live, learn, grow, and pray.
You and I, we were made
To lift our hands, bow our hearts,
And open our eyes to the truth.
We were made to praise the Lord
We were made to praise Him
