After four years of motorcycle gang life in NYC, Tom dodged death and was able to obtain a respectable job as a New York City Subway Train Conductor. Working quickly up the ranks, Tom became the Director for Customer Communications for the Long Island Rail Road. After 13 years of service Tom, once known as The Hawk from New York, left his job and purchased a franchise. He built the business and in less than five years he sold it and semi-retired at 41-years old. Now, on a daily basis Tom inspires people to realize their dreams, too. How did Tom get from the streets of NYC to become a successful business person? The answer is: he was prepared when opportunity knocked.
