His works include Aesthectic Theory, Introduction to the Sociology of Music, The Jargon of Authenticity, Prism, and Philosophy of Modern Music.Adorno (1903-69) was a founding member of the Frankfurt School and possibly its most influential theorist. He worked at the New York Center for Social Research with Max Horkheimer and afterwards taught at Frankfurt University until his death in 1969. In sociology, philosophy, and cultural theory, his work has had a huge impact.
