Make Your Own Horse Clothing by Jean Perry
This is the first book to be published containing precise details with copious illustrations for making over twenty items of horse clothing in the home. The author describes how to cut out, machine and sew a variety of rugs and other items of clothing, each accompanied by graph patterns and the drawings of her husband. Nearly all require only the use of a domestic sewing machine. Help is given on obtaining the correct materials.
Jean Perry has City and Guilds Certificates in dressmaking and pattern cutting and a London University Teaching Certificate. She retired in 1995 but still teaches part-time. The author has owned three horses, is married and lives in Dorset.
