He is the author of the award-winning book The Making of Tocqueville's Democracy in America; coeditor of De la Dü¾Ž–”¼mocratie en Amü¾Ž–”¼rique, a critical edition in the Plü¾Ž–”¼iade series; and translator of the four-volume historical-critical edition of De la Dü¾Ž–”¼mocratie en Amü¾Ž–”¼rique edited by Eduardo Nolla.
