Mammoth Hunt by John Blashford-Snell
Rumours began to filter out of Nepal ten years ago that there was a giant mammoth raiding the hunting grounds of Nepalese tribesmen. John Blashford-Snell, accompanied by Rula Lenska and a team of explorers, made a series of expeditions over many years, tracking giant footprints, fodder trails and dung piles until they came upon a pair of giant elephants. When the evidence was studied it showed that these animals did indeed have links with prehistoric elephants.
