Graham Ashworth was born in Rochdale in 1959 but now lives in Rossendale with wife Dawn He has one son and one daughter and is now a proud grandfather. He also has a step-daughter. He originally worked as an engineer before embarking on his thirty year career as a fire-fighter with the Greater Manchester Fire Service. This, his first novel, is based on years of observation of human nature and has enabled him to show his talent for story-telling in this fast-paced, debut book.
