Katie Cook is a well-known writer and comic artist. In 2013, she was named one of the 100 most influential persons in the comic industry by pop culture website Bleeding Cool for her writing and art for the enormously successful My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (IDW). She's done licensed artwork for DC, Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and Fraggle Rock, among others. She also writes and draws Gronk, a popular web comic, and is a regular attendee at comic conventions all around the world. She currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
