He has written and contributed to a wide-range of books including The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia, Making a Blockbuster Movie and The Oxford Dictionary of Science. Maggie Hewson has taught primary and secondary pupils for 23 years. She is now the science co-ordinator at Walthamstow Hall Junior School in Kent, England. The school is the distinguished recipient of the nationwide award for Science School of the Year.
